Quality and Patient Safety

The Office of Quality Supervision and Patient Safety is concerned with ensuring the quality of services provided by the hospital, and ending according to the required specifications, whether in terms of devices, equipment and medical supplies or hospital personnel.

Among the functions of the office:

  • Establishing a health system capable of assimilating and applying quality standards.
  • Setting specifications and standards for all medical, technical and administrative services.
  • Regularly inspect patient and other departments to monitor and follow up the procedures necessary for infection control programs.
  • Supervising sterilization methods, and training and teaching workers how to fight infection.
  • Setting special specifications for devices, equipment, supplies and operating materials for medical laboratories.
