Registration and accommodation

The department is concerned with recording the data of patients attending the hospital, and facilitating the process of their admission and accommodation in the hospital, whether they are attending the outpatient clinics or the emergency department.

The department is obligated to follow the movement of the patient between the medical departments, and supervises the process of issuing electronic stickers for medical follow-up inside the hospital. The department also supervises the registration of new-borns, and the department undertakes the process of classifying, arranging and archiving the files of patients after their discharge from the hospital.

The department contains the following units:

  • Patient Registration Unit.
  • Archiving unit.
  • New-born Registration Unit.

These services are provided by about 50 employees and a modern electronic registration system.
