The Nursing Department has total staff of 468, Nurses 320 and Helpers 148. The department includes: Out Patient, Emergency, Neonatal I.C.U, Pediatric I.C.U, Medical and Surgical I.C.U, Urology, Pediatric, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Medical, E.N.L, Operation theatre, plus 2 new departments Cardiology and Gastroenterology which started in 2019.

In general every department has Unit Manager and assistant and scheduled morning duty nurses and helpers. Rotation nurses and helpers work for Day and Night duties for 12 hours. There are 5 supervisors on rotation during the day and nigh duty. Staffing according to the number of beds and workloads of every department. Over workloads mostly in emergency, pediatric, obstetrics and Gynaecology and I.C.U department. With the current situation absenteeism cannot be avoided most of the time, which leads to shortage of staff and leaving only helpers to do the entire nurses job. These are nursing committee that controls everything in place.
