Radiology Department
History of the hospital Alhadba Alkadra General Hospital is an educational and training hospital, established in 1976, and affiliated with the Ministry of Health. The hospital has more than 450 doctors divided between doctors, consultants and specialists. Morover, the hospital contains 20 departments from various medical specialties.
The Radiology Department contains the following :
- X-Ray X-ray regular X-rays, Fluoroscopy, X-Ray X-Ray (HSG) among other exams.
- Computed tomography 128 Philips slide.
- Ultrasound (general ultrasound, musculoskeletal, color Doppler, 3D scanning, biopsies).
- Magnetic resonance imaging (all tests)
- Mammography (complete digital breast imaging with stereoscopic biopsy)
RIS / PACS
Paperless / filmless service with use of RIS and PACS.
This service provides the ability to digitally release explanatory reports and images, thereby eliminating errors, potential loss, or misallocation of films, studies, or reports.
MRI magnetic resonance imaging
The Siemens MAGNETON Vida 3T MRI with BioMatrix Technology provides close examination of skeletal muscles (MSK), liver, bile ducts and pancreas using the bile duct magnetic resonance and pancreatitis and heart.
CT Scan
The Siemens SOMATOM Force CT Scanner provides the latest in tomography including multi-format and 3D images. It is characterized by the ability to accurately evaluate coronary arteries and high results. CT scans, vascular and virtual colonoscopy can also be done routinely.
